2018-2019 Kindergarten Registration Information

Kindergarten for the 2018-2019 school year will be ½ day programming with AM hours 9:10 a.m. - 11:55 a.m. and PM hours 12:55 p.m. - 3:40 p.m. Your child’s session is determined by the address of your residence. The finalized street listing will be posted on our website at  We will also have the listing available at our meeting on Feb. 21st in order for you to confirm your child’s assigned session.  Bus pickup and drop off times will not be available until late July.

If you are coordinating residential private child care, you will need to stay within your residential assigned session for your child to receive Mason bus service both to and from school.  If a session change is desired, you will find this form on our website. Click on the “Newcomer” star, then “Kindergarten Registration”. You will find the form in the left column. Session changes will be granted, by the principal, only if enrollment numbers allow. Your child’s transportation may be affected as a result of a session change.  Please keep this in mind as you arrange care for your child.

Most public daycare centers within the Mason City School limits receive bus service for both sessions. However, please be aware that some daycares may be assigned a specific session due to their location.  This information will be available on the street listing guide.
