The Mason City School’s Human Resources Talent Management Office is responsible for planning and directing a forward looking program for the recruitment, selection, hiring, assignment and retention of the very best classified and certificated personnel. The selection and development of professional and support staff is of the highest priority to the Mason City School District. The Human Resources Talent Management Office has many other responsibilities that include job postings, background checks, reference checks, job descriptions, certification/licensure, leaves of absences, personnel file management, employee negotiations, substitute teacher recruitment, university intern teacher placement, staffing projections and new teacher mentoring.
