The Mason City School District proudly welcomes new educational staff to its schools and the district.
“Each of these educators brings years of valuable expertise and unique talents and backgrounds to our team," said Dr. Gail Kist-Kline, Mason City Schools Superintendent. "We wish each of them success in the school year, and look forward to their help as we focus on "what really matters!’”
Certified Staff
Mason City Schools welcome 32 certified staffers for the 16-17 school year. The hires fill some vacancies left by retiring teachers or those who have resigned. The district also added four additional English as a Second Language teachers, one intervention specialist, and one Social Communications and School Fundamentals (SCSF) intervention specialist to better meet students' needs for these growing programs.
