Student Achievement Committee

The Mason City School District is focused on analysis and alignment of curriculum, instruction, and assessments that support high levels of learning and achievement. 

PurposeSTEM lab
The committee meets monthly in a school to monitor achievement throughout the district, ensure adequate progress on district goals, and analyze our implementation of innovative instructional and programmatic options. 

  • Review student achievement data, instructional and innovative trends, and programs.
  • Monitor the district achievement health by examining data.
  • Review proposals that relate to student achievement prior to board action, including curriculum changes and implementation, new course/program changes, and innovative program options. 

The Student Achievement Committee is made up of parents, community members, and employees.
